The most sensational work I have read in English is not a famous book; in fact, it is a short writing by the ten years old girl in Red Deer in 2006. Her mother, a Royal Canadian Mounted Police, was killed by a criminal. It moved me to tears full face, and it deeply changed my mind. From this girl, a real little angel, I finally believe that nobody should be killing in our world. I was born and grew up an old traditional country where someone should be killing is a supreme gospel that was never doubted, but Canada is one of countries were abolished capital punishment, that means the murderer could live in prison without execution. The little girl told us she really does not want all girls lost their parents. Nowadays, there are 78 countries still have capital punishment around the world. The capital punishment is not a valid reason to execute a murderer; as a result, it cannot effectively stop the crime of murder, and it can be another kind of murder, also it murders universal love and hope to murderers.
At first, radically and effectively avoid murder seems the good enough reason for capital punishment; actually, the results show it is not true. The Amnesty International reports of compare research had proved that some countries still had capital punishment were also the high crime rate of murder. Such as in 2003, 84 per cent of executions and over 80 per cent murders occurred in China, Iran, the U.S. and Vietnam in the world. Another example of Canada was abolished capital punishment in 1976; afterward, it still keeps the lower crime rate of murder. In addition, the criminological research pointed out that murder had the most complex factors, so simply execute murderer never really stop and reduce murders. For instance, some typical cases of murder, the situation of murder such as anger, misunderstand, and fear usually were the key to murder. Also, the criminal follow research reported that in number of cases only a little bit of murderers could commit crime of murder again. Second, murders are completely wrong and the cruelest killing, but capital punishment sometimes made it again, and it murdered universal love and hope to murderers. Capital punishment is a difficult job to decide exactly, and it never be perfectly done since many reasons. For example, it almost still exists that some execution by mistake in all countries who persist capital punishment. It is like another kind of murder. It destroys the hope for government and murderer to change the terrible mistake. Moreover, the murderers’ relatives must suffer the infinite pain again as the victim’s family. A good example is in China; a young murderer’s all members of family went to the victim’s home to beg forgiving with the most possible expiation, only not killing the young murderer. The biggest wish for all criminal’s relatives is that can be any punishment even life-sentence only not capital punishment for criminal. Therefore, for punishment and protects society, prison is a better form to take away their freedom not execution.
To conclude, capital punishment is not a fair rule for humans. It cannot really avoid the murder, only show that killing people is wrong, but it kills again and show that someone should be killing. It murdered the universal love and plays the tragedy again for criminal’s relatives as victim’s family, also it destroys the hope that people can change, and even they have made terrible mistakes. To hear and remember the little angel’s voice: “no one should be killing”, either victim or killer, and for whatever reasons. When this voice rooted into the deep heart of everyone, humans will never kill other forever.

The final Presentation is over. Eric, Mark and i represent Woodstock festival, and we had no idea what is this at the beginning. Now, we know it so well. It is was a historic event held at dairy farm in the rural town of Bethel, New York from August 15 to August 18.

To many, the festival exemplified the counterculture of the 1960s and the " hippie era". Thirty-two of the best-known musicians of this time period appeared during the sometimes rainy weekend. Although attempts have been made over the years to recreate the festival, the original event has proven to be unique and legendary. It is widely regarded as one of the greatest moments in music history. Woodstock has been idealized in the American popular culture as one of peak events of the hippie movement — a festival where nearly 500,000 "hippies" came together to celebrate. At the time, it held the record for the largest music audience in the world. Although the festival was remarkably peaceful given the number of people and conditions involved, there were three fatalities: one from a drug overdose; another caused by an occupied sleeping bag accidentally being run over by a tractor in a nearby hayfield; and a third when a festival participant fell off a scaffold.

Today we finished watching Forrest Gump, it is an excellent movie.
So i want to talk about the influnces of movies.
The impact that movies or televisions has had on our daily life and society in general is undeniable. No doubt it would become even greater as the global continues to grow, and the relevant technology become more and more and so fascinating that

They grow long hair regardless of their gender commonly part of which is dyed in gold. They wear jeans each and every season usually needs of which are (liberally) teddered. Boys are found of ear rings or other odd pendent and girls are kin on (marbrous) and wired bad words.

movies and televisions by offering topics and effecting the ways which we discussed the important issues has strong influence on our perception of the truth of the world or of the structure of our society. We have to admit that it has a role in our lives as a source of information, experiences, entertainment, amusement, and relaxation.

I love history!!!
As the demand of knowledge increases quickly all over the world, many students in universities are required wider range of knowledge. History, as a very important subject which interprets the human knowledge in a chronological method, is more and more demanded by the university students. There comes a debate that whether history should be added to the compulsory course list or not. When I was asked I felt that forcing students of every major to study history is a very bad idea.

First and foremost, to let the non-history major students study history is actually a waste of time and energy. The time and energy of a single college student is quite limited. Another important reason is that for most of the students who do not major in history, especially those who major in science, history is actually of no use for them. Though the demand of variety of knowledge of an individual is increasing, to do well in one’s major is the most important.The last reason why history should not be studied by all students is that for those students who do not major in history, taking history course may decrease their GPA and may lead to a lack of confidence or other psychological problems.

In brief, though history is very important, it should not be demand on all the students of different majors. We can study it according to our interests upon it when we are free. But it should not be a compulsory course in college.

X'mas is coming, it is time to buy gifts. I bought an iPod Touch for my grilfriend as my Christmas gift. Actually, I think she doesn’t like listen to music when she was in the bus or C-train because by the time she got it, she did not seem to be excited. I think if i bought a NDS or PS3 to her, she would be much happier. Ha… somehow i think i kind of know that, but he wants to have a mp3 for a long time; I think i wish to use it when i has nothing to do in my way to school, and she doesn't use it at all. Also, i expected she would give me the gift which as the same value as the iPod, and i told her maybe she could buy an earphone that used with this iPod. she said that she would buy a very big one that i could use the earphone warm my ears when it is snow outside. Well, that sounds not bad. Ha…. I used this iPod for a while, it is so fantastic.. Also, i heard i can go to internet by it, and it is free!!! You even can use it to look at Youtube. One of my friend wanted to buy one, too, but i guess he need a long time to think about it before he actually buy one, not like me. I decided to buy one, i just went to buy one next day.

These days are so cold!! Although there was just a little snow, I have to say it is really cold that I do not want to go outside. But i have no choice, today My friend and I went to buy some gifts to our family members who are in China because i btought nothing for them last year, if i still bring nothing back this time, they will kill me for sure. In this extrmely cold weather, we have to wait for the No. 10 bus. I can feel i was freezed into ice slowly. We remember the time when the bus came in order to save time and decrease the time which we are waiting. Although we just wait around 10 minutes I realize I do not want to be outside any more if the weather likes today. During Canada's winter, i would like to sleep like a bear if i do not need to go to EAP program.

Before I came to Canada, my favorite season was winter; however, after I arrived here, I felt I could not tolerate the weather here because I am almost freezing. I love winter in the past because it was very beautiful. Everywhere is white and everything is clean and pure. I have never been in a place like Canada where is so cold liked North Pole.

Today I watched the film,called underdog, which was shown on PPS. PPS is a Chinese program that can watch some movies, TV shows, cartoons and some other programma by Internet. I just search movies and found underdog which was shown by English voice and Chinese subtitle.
The movie begins in City Hall in Capitol City, where the mayor is giving a speech about how crime in the city has skyrocketed. As he talked a lonely abandoned canine was walking in the street. Cad sees the dog and takes him into a lab. After he gets put into a cage surrounded by other caged dogs, The dog asks the dog next to him what this place is; all the dog says is that BAD stuff goes on in here. In the lab lobby, Cad watches the door with another security guard, Dan. Dan stops a man trying to walk in saying the lab is closed for the night. The man shows his pass, and Cad identifies him as Dr. Simon, I guess. Simon and Cad go into the lab, where they retrieve the dog and plan to perform an experiment on him. Simon tells Underdog that it’s going to hurt a lot, which causes the dog to sneeze into Simon’s mouth then jump out of his hands. As he runs around, Underdog damages a bunch of damage to the lab and knocks a bunch of chemicals onto himself. The chemicals change his body around and make him able to run out of the lab by busting through a few walls. You need to check what happed after by yourself.

I have already worked in A&W for almost one year. During the working time, I should listen to customers and talk with them. We often only talked about what they wanted to buy; however, when I sometimes met some customers who were very interesting and friendly, I might talk some other things with them. For example, we talked about what faculty we were in or interesting things. Actually, most time, I just listened to the conversation that they were talking about in order to practice my listening. In my working place, I always talked with my colleagues. Although some of them always scared me in order to have fun, they were not out of spite and they are all funny guys. I felt I improved my listening when I listened to their conversations. Even though I still couldn’t understand all of conversations when they speak so fast, I could understand half of them. That’s a large step for me.
During these days, i wanted to buy some second-hand furniture such as the bookcase, sofa and so on to fill my empty living room. However, it is so inconvenient. I have to search, and pick up by myself, and i need a cab. Well, i gave up, i think i will just go to Ikea to buy some new ones.

According to Charles Ma's 2007 esaay, Deja vu is caused by mis-timing neuronal system or multiverse. For real, i don't even know what i am talking about in that essay. I spent hours on searching the internet, and i only found these two ideas make sense to me. I only have two body paragraphes because i certainly can not find enough information for anonther one. Even in my essay, the second reason for deja vu is ridicules, and even in Word computer keep saying that the spelling of multiverse is wrong. Multiverse is the hypothetic theory that the reality is comprised by many multiple possible universes, and they are parallel. If you want to know more details about multiverse, please go to wikipedia and search. You will not find the information about deja vu in that reading because i connectted them which means i made it up. Want to why multiverse cause deja vu? To watch a movie which called 'Deja Vu', and there are some crazy scientists will explain to you.

Well, it is time to do another blog. Be honest, i have no idea what should i write about, so i guess i need to write something about the midterm. I have studied in EAPP progrem for really a long time, and there is nothing new for me to do a midterm. Reading, listening, speaking and writting should like the past tearms, but who knows? Sccot is in charge, there is no surprise that he gave us some surprises. Like today, in reading class his "sercet". However, i did quiet good on that quizz. The only thing i am worried about is the length of the writting test because it is only two and half hours, and it worth much more than the essay we do in the class. Also, the time we can use is much less than that. It is possible to get a poor mark. In addition, the essays that we have to is twice last term, and there is a tonse of other stuffs. I can not belive that i can hand in everything on time, but so far so good. Also thanks god, Sccot asked the essay #3 to hand in on Monday so that we can have prepare the Midterm. Last, good luck to myself to pass the Midterm.

I heard a really bad news yesterday when i am on the internet. The news was about a 14 years old girl sucidied in my hometown, and as i know this is the first time a teenager killed herself in my hometown. That is not the most important thing to make me surprise. She was a junior high school student, and her school is the one i read when i was her age. I guess the teacher who taught her used to teach me because it was really a long time ago, and i could not remeber all the teachers' name. however, i am familiar with her teacher's name. If it is really the one i know, i can understand why this girl killed herself. She is such a bad teacher due to she always force the students to study all the time after the class, and she gave physical punishment to students. She is the only teacher i hated.
